​Heather is a dedicated dog trainer with Canine Karma Training, bringing her expertise to the South-Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland areas. Residing with her husband and two beloved Rottweilers, Cannon and Ryott, Heather’s passion for dogs extends beyond training - it’s a way of life.

Heather's professional journey began with owning a successful dog walking and pet sitting business, where she honed her skills in animal care and client relations. She further deepened her knowledge by working in a veterinary hospital for several years, gaining invaluable experience in canine health and behavior.

Heather’s connection with Canine Karma Training started as a client, seeking help for her dog Ryott’s behavioral issues and her goal of building a better relationship with her canine companion. Through her commitment and the guidance of Canine Karma, she successfully rehabilitated Ryott’s aggression, igniting a passion for dog training that led her to join the team. Heather has also developed specific expertise in helping dogs with anxiety and aggression when visiting the vet, making this a specialized niche of hers at Canine Karma Training.

Today, Heather is an enthusiastic and compassionate trainer, deeply invested in the well-being of the dogs she works with and their owners. She offers a range of services, including In-Home Lessons, Board and Trains, Day Trains, and exclusive Boarding for Canine Karma Training alumni.

Heather’s personal and professional experiences make her a trusted partner for any dog owner looking to build a stronger, more harmonious relationship with their pet.
